Rental Terms

  • Driver Age: 22 years old is the minimum driver age requirement for renting our cars.
  • Driving License: A valid driving license issued by a European Union Member State or an international driving license held for at least one year is required from the driver.
  • Rates: The rates include VAT and all local taxes. The on-line rates may differ than off line rates and may change without notice.
  • Minimum Rental Period: One day (24 hours). Each hour of delay upon completion of the 24-hour rental shall be charged extra.
  • Fuel: The renter has to return the car with the same quantity of fuel it had when collected.
  • Traffic Fines: The renter is liable for the payment of all traffic fines that may occur during the car rental.
  • Kilometers: Our prices include unlimited kilometers.
  • Ferrying the car: Ferrying the car to any other island or mainland is not allowed.
  • Changes: Across Car Rental reserves the right to provide to the customer a higher category car, with no extra charge for the customer.
  • Road Assistance:Across Car Rental cars are covered by 24hours road assistance. Road assistance’s contact details are stated on the rental contract.
  • Cancellation Policy: Free Cancellation over 24 hours before pick up time. In case of “Last minute” technical problems, Across Car Rental has the right to cancel the booking or return the deposit, always in consultation with the customer.
  • No Show: 100% of amount will be charged.
  • Baby/Booster Seats: Available on request without charge.
  • Loss or damage of key: In case of loss or damage of car key during the rental, the renter is liable to pay from 80€ to 200€ depending on the car type.
  • Extra Driver: Additional driver/drivers are free of charge.
  • GPS Navigation: Available on request with charge.
  • Third party damages: Included in our rates.
  • Third party liability: Included in our rates.
  • Theft / Fire: Included CDW and SCDW.
  • CDW – Collision Damage Waiver: 10€ per day- Excess 400€.
  • SCDW – Super Collision Damage Waiver: 20€ per day- Excess 90€.
